Good Earth Gardens has organically grown you-pick and pre-picked berries.

Feel free to bring your own picking tray or bucket if you’ve got one, otherwise we’ll set you up when you get here. If you’re planning a trip, here’s an estimated seasonal schedule:

  • Despite the name, our juneberries usually begin first week of July;

  • Blueberries are mid July into August;

  • Ditto for red & black currants;

  • Gooseberries too, but it depends on whether you like ‘em green or red; and

  • Our blackberries start in August and run into September.

You may be wondering what the difference is between “Organic” and “organically grown.” In practice, nothing. The farm simply hasn’t made enough money to make it worth it to go through full certification. (Full disclosure, Ryan sits on the board of MOSA, an organic certifying agency.) All our products are compliant with the
USDA NOP, but if you’re ever curious what products we use, feel free to ask!
